Dogs experience a world of smells that we barely perceive. Teaching your dog to search for and indicate the presence of a particular odor provides mental stimulation in a low pressure setting by tapping into their interest in the world of scent. Dogs will be started directly onto the Wintergreen scent rather than food. Topics covered include: introduction to scent behavior, developing a dog's desire to find odor and developing a handler's ability to read their dog's body language while searching.

Introductory Interiors

For dogs that have completed the Nose Knows or a Designated Odor Test for Wintergreen. We will be moving the odor out of the box and starting to work on searching an interior room.

For dogs that have completed the Introductory Interiors. We will be continuing to develop skills for container searches and interior searches including threshold hides, corner hides, low hides and high hides.
