This class contains a little bit of everything to keep a smart dog's brain busy learning fun things while also developing some good foundation skills.  If you've thought you might like to try a dog sport but aren't sure, or aren't sure which one, this class lets you sample a few to see what appeals to you!

We will be teaching the following things:

• Short Rally Obedience sequences
• Pivoting on a perch (great for hind end awareness)​
• Crossing over a board that tips (preparation for an agility teeter)
• Backing up (used in TEAM & Working Level Rally)
• Position changes at a distance (used in TEAM & Working Level Rally, plus working at a distance is a useful skill for agility too)
• Send away (used in TEAM, Working Level Rally & Agility)
• Searching scent games (give your dog a chance to try out scent detection)

​Maximum 4 dogs in class. 
​​Prerequisites: comfortable in a group class setting.  (Ideally Puppy Kindergarten or Elementary Manners Class)

Teamwork Challenge

Looking for a wide variety of exercises to keep your dog challenged? This class will continue to develop skills for both the Fenzi TEAM program and the CARO Working Level class.  ​

Start with the Building Blocks:
- Pivoting
- Position changes at a distance
- Retrieve
- Backing up independently
- Sending around an object
- Jumping
- Handler scent discrimination

Continue on to build Complex Chains:
- Drop on Recall/Emergency Down
- Retrieve over a Jump
​- Directed Retrieve
- Barrel Racing (dog runs around 3 pylons in a predetermined pattern)
- Directed Jumping
- Signals at a Distance

​​Maximum 4 dogs in class.
