Group classes don't fit in your schedule? Would you rather just work on the skills your dog needs to fit into your family? The solution: Private training lessons for you and your dog at your home and personalized just for your needs. How does it work: My experience has shown that one lesson is rarely enough to see the kind of changes people are seeking. Planning on several lessons allows for feedback and tweaking of the exercises to suit the individual dog as he/she progresses in understanding. However, occasionally there are situations where a single lesson is appropriate, especially if it is a follow-up. We discuss your situation via email, and if you would like to go ahead with lessons you register for a package of lessons or just a single lesson to confirm the dates for your lesson(s). In the first lesson I talk to you about your concerns and desired outcomes, observe your dog, design a plan with you and get you started on training your dog to behave the way you want. We then meet for an agreed upon number of follow up sessions to evaluate your dog's progress and work on the next steps. What types of concerns are suitable for private training lessons? A variety of things such as coming when called, walking on leash, sit/stand/down/stay, greeting people without jumping on them and more. If unsure that your situation is suitable, please email me and ask. Have a Question? Want to Enroll? |
